DESCRIPTION:MoveUP Events and Social Planning committee is pleased to offer members the opportunity to see an Abbotsford Canucks Game on Saturday\, December 6\, 2025. \nAbbotsford Canucks vs Coachella Valley Firebirds \nThis will be a very special game as it is the TEDDY BEAR TOSS!!! \nThe Teddy Bear Toss is a holiday season tradition in many hockey communities\, including the Abbotsford Canucks!\nYou will be encouraged to bring new teddy bears or stuffed animals to the game to throw onto the ice when the Canucks score their first goal.\nIt’s a celebration unlike any other! All the teddy bears and stuffed animals collected will go to the Archway Toys for Tots program\, supporting children and families in need throughout the Fraser Valley. \nDetails as follows: \nGame Night: Saturday\, December 6\, 2025 \nDoors Open: at 5 p.m. for MoveUP members (and their guests) only. We will have an area with high-top tables for members to mingle and to collect their $15 vouchers. \nGame starts at 7 p.m. Doors open to the public at 6 p.m. \nLocation: Abbotsford Centre – 33800 King Rd Abbotsford\, BC V2S 8H8 \nTicket Details: Four (4) tickets per member (member and up to 3 guests) – Member MUST attend game with their guest(s). \nTicket Price: $25 per person – this includes admission ticket and $15 voucher that can be used at concessions. \nTickets will go on sale on November 3\, at 5 p.m. Please click HERE at that time to register.\nThere will be no waitlist and no refunds. \nYou will receive an information email in the week prior to the event. \nGo Abbotsford Canucks!

DESCRIPTION:You and your family are invited to join us for the annual MoveUP Family Holiday Movie Events with Santa. \nCoquitlam Cineplex – 170 Schoolhouse Street\, Coquitlam B.C. V3K 4X9 \nRegistration for both events open November 12\, at 5 p.m.\nMovie # 1 – THE GRINCH (2018 animated version)  – December 6 @ 11 a.m. – Click HERE to register for this movie only. \nMovie # 2 – ELF – December 13 @ 11 a.m. – Click HERE to register for this movie only. \nDoors Open at 10 a.m. \nIncluded with each ticket: Popcorn\, drink & candy.  \nPrice: $25 per family – family is defined as 1 member\, 1 additional adult (spouse\, grandparent\, etc.)\, and up to 4 children of any age. \nDuring registration\, you will be asked to select the size of your snack combo. You are limited to one snack combo per attendee\, but you can select any sizes as you wish. For example\, if you have 2 adults and 2 children\, you can choose to select 3 adult combos and 1 child combo. The adult combo includes a large popcorn\, large drink and large candy\, while the child combo comes with a small popcorn\, small drink and small candy. \nMoveUP is proud to once again support the BC Federation of Labour’s Community Holiday Event—a wonderful tradition that helps families in need during the holiday season. We ask that each child brings a new\, unwrapped toy for a ages 0-18. Every donation helps spread a little more holiday cheer\, and your generosity is greatly appreciated! \nFamilies will have the opportunity to see Santa until 11 a.m. – when he must head back up to the North Pole to continue making toys for Christmas. Families that arrive after 11 a.m. MAY NOT SEE SANTA! \nYour registration fee of $25 will be donated to the lower mainland food bank to help families in need. \nPlease only register for one of the movie events. This will allow more of your fellow members and their families an opportunity to attend one of these events.  We expect to sell out.  We are unable to switch your movie choice after you have already purchased due to limited seating. \nIf you are unable to register that means that the event is sold out. There are no refunds or waitlists.
