DESCRIPTION:MoveUP events and social planning committee is pleased to offer members the opportunity to see a BC Lions game on October 5\, 2019. \nDetails as follows: \nGame Night: Saturday October 5th\, 2019. \nGame Time: 7:00 p.m.   \nDoors Open at 6:00 p.m. \nPre-Game Experience: 5:00 – 5:30 p.m. \nLocation:  BC Place\, 777 Pacific Blvd\, Vancouver \nTicket Price: $15 per person – which includes a special BC LIONS SOUVENIR \nTicket Details: Four tickets per member (member and three guests) – Member MUST attend game with their guests.  \nEvent Bonus: A special pre-game experience will be offered to the first 100 people that sign up for one of these specific options: to watch the pre-game warm-up at field level OR to hold and wave the Canadian flag during the anthem. In order to participate in this pre-game experience\, you must arrive between 5:00 to 5:30 pm to pick up your tickets. Late comers cannot be accommodated. \nAll  details\, including the pre-game bonus information will be sent to ticket holders a few days prior to the event. \nWe expect these tickets to sell out fast so register early in order not to miss out. \nTickets will go on sale on this Friday afternoon September 13th at 6:00 pm . \nClick here then to purchase your tickets.  \nIf you have any questions\, please send email to events@moveuptogether.ca. \nWe are looking forward to cheering on our BC Lions with you!

SUMMARY:Job Steward Level 2 Training
DESCRIPTION:Registration is now open for the next Job Steward Level 2 training for Saturday\, October 19 and Sunday\, October 20th\, 2019. \nThis course is open to all job stewards\, executive councillors and board members who have not previously taken this course\, and who have completed Job Steward Level 1\, or are currently registered for Job Steward Level 1 on September 28 and 29. \nDates:\nSaturday\, October 19\, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Lunch provided)\nSunday\, October 20\, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.\n(Attendance at both days is mandatory) \nLocation:\nMoveUP Office\n#301 – 4501 Kingsway\nBurnaby\, BC \nIf you wish to attend\, please register here no later than Friday\, September 27\, 2019. \nPlease register early to accommodate any leave of absence you may require. If your employer requires more than three weeks’ notice\, please email jbanfield@moveuptogether.ca at the time of registration to ensure your leave is sent within the timelines specified in your collective agreement. \nLate registrations may not be accepted. \nConfirmation letters and any travel/accommodations required will be emailed to the address you provided with your registration by October 4\, 2019. Cancellations will not be permitted after October 11. \nA reminder that in order for you to register for the annual job steward seminar in March you must have completed both job steward training level 1 and 2 courses in order to attend.
