DESCRIPTION:MoveUP Events and Social Planning committee is pleased to offer members the opportunity to see an Abbotsford Canucks Game on Saturday\, December 2\, 2023. \nAbbotsford Canucks vs Laval Rockets –  \nThis will be a very special game as it is the TEDDY BEAR TOSS!!! \nThe Teddy Bear Toss is a holiday season tradition in many hockey communities\, including the Abbotsford Canucks!\nFans will be encouraged to bring new teddy bears to the game to throw onto the ice when the Canucks score their first goal.\nIt’s a celebration unlike any other! All teddy bears collected are donated to the Archway Toy’s for Tots program\, benefitting underprivileged children in the Fraser Valley. \nDetails as follows: \nGame Night: Saturday\, December 2\, 2023 \nDoors Open: at 5 p.m. for MoveUP members only. SUMMARY:Vancouver Whitecaps game
DESCRIPTION:MoveUP is pleased to invite members and their guests to a special event with the Whitecaps FC on Saturday\, October 21\, 2023. \nThe Whitecaps will take on Los Angeles FC at 6 p.m. at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver\, and we hope you and your family or friends will join us while we cheer them on! \nTickets are $25.00/person\, with a limit of 4 tickets per member. Tickets will be emailed to you.  Please ensure that your email address is correct when registering.\nWe will also have a $15 food and beverage voucher (per ticket) to give you at the game. You will require photo ID to pick up your vouchers.\nPlease note that members must attend this game with their guests. No refunds. \nWe also have 50 spots reserved for a on field experience of being a Large Jersey Flag Bearer!\nThe Large Jersey Flag Bearers are responsible for unfurling this large flag just prior to opening procession on the pitch.\nThey will be required to attend a quick briefing with Whitecaps FC staff prior to the match outlining details of the activation.\nYou and your guests would have to be at BC place 75 minutes prior to kickoff.  You would have to be there at 4:45 p.m.\nFollowing the opening ceremony\, the Large Jersey Flag Bearers will carry the flag off the pitch and then return to their seats to enjoy the match.\nIf you are interested in participating in this event – please send separate email to kprinz@moveuptogether.ca -you must have a ticket to the event to take part in this.\nWe will hold a draw for the 50 spots and inform you in the week before the event. \nOur union social events have been extremely popular this year\, and we anticipate this one to be no different.\nIf you and your family want to be part of this great night\, please register for tickets as soon as they go on sale. \nTickets will go on sale Tuesday October 3\, at 5 p.m…  Please click HERE at that time.\nPlease add your name to the waitlist if tickets sell out and we will be in touch if anything becomes available. \nFull details will be emailed to ticket holders in the week prior to the event\, including how we will be distributing the $15 vouchers. \nIf you have any questions\, you can contact us at events@moveuptogether.ca
