SUMMARY:2019 Children’s Breakfast With Santa – Lower Mainland
DESCRIPTION:You and your family are invited to join us for the MoveUP annual Children’s Breakfast with Santa. This fun event is ideal for members and their families with children 12 and under. \nSanta will be there\, along with his elves\, for balloon animals and face painting. \nThis year we will have two breakfast seating’s – one at 8:30 a.m. and the second at 11:30 a.m. \nDue to the high number of expected registrants each member may invite one adult family member and up to four children from their immediate family\, ages 12 and under. \nRegistration donation for this event is $15 for each member.  Registration includes one family adult guest and up to 4 children\, 12 years of age and under. \nEach child guest is asked to bring a new\, unwrapped toy to be donated to the BC Federation of Labour annual Christmas dinner for residents of the downtown eastside community. \nYour registration fee of $15 will be donated to the lower mainland food bank to help families in need. \n     Date:         Saturday\, December 7\, 2019 \n     Where:    Firefighters’ Hall\, 6515 Bonsor Avenue\, Burnaby\, BC \n     Time:       First Seating – 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.  \nSecond Seating – 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. \nHow to Register: We have set up two Eventbrite registration links so you can choose which seating you wish to attend. Follow the appropriate link below to register. \nRegistration for event will go on sale at 7:00 pm – Thursday November 6. We are scheduled for at 12:45 pm tour and 1:30 pm demonstration.\nPrice: $20/person \n– come and bring a lunch for a picnic at 11:45. The Victoria HarbourCats are part of the West Coast League\, one of the premier collegiate summer leagues in North America. This league is known as the “Diamond Standard” of summer collegiate baseball and the players are MLB prospects. \nThe Bells and HarbourCats renew their North Division rivalry in game two of their three-game set\, the Bells only regular season visit to Victoria this year. It’s Saturday night baseball at its best!  The Bells and HarbourCats rivalry will be as strong as ever in 2019. \nMoveUP members are welcome with up to 3 guests for a maximum of 4 tickets -(a MoveUP member must attend the game). \nEvent Date: Saturday July 6\, 2019 \nDoors Open at 5:30 – Game starts at 6:35. \nTickets are $15 each for guests over the age of four. SUMMARY:Hastings Park - Day at the Races
DESCRIPTION:MoveUP members are invited to an afternoon at Hastings Racecourse. \nMembers\, along with one guest\, can watch the races trackside located right by the finish line. \nCheer on our MoveUP sponsored horse running in a feature race. \nMoveUP will provide hot and cold appetizers as well as one drink ticket per ticket holder.  Appetizers will be available starting between 2:15 – 2:30pm. \nTicket price is $15 per ticket. Members must attend event with their guest. \nDate: Saturday\, May 25\, 2019 \nRace Time: 1:50 pm to 5:20 pm   \nAdmission to trackside patio will not be open until 1:00PM.  No entry to the patio before that time. \nLocation: PNE Fairgrounds via Gate 6 or Gate 9 (Parking fee is not included) – Please keep your parking receipt as you will be able to trade it for a racing program at the venue. \nTICKETS WILL GO ON SALE – Friday May 3rd at noon. \nAt the time of ticket release click here. Tickets are limited and will sell out very quickly.  Please add your name to the waiting list if sold out.
