If you have previously taken Job Steward One and are looking to strengthen your steward skills\, this four-part online course is for you! DESCRIPTION:This course is open to all job stewards\, executive councillors and board members. \nDates:\nSaturday\, January 25\, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Lunch provided)\nSunday\, January 26\, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.\n(Registrants must be in attendance for the whole course) \nLocation:\nMoveUP Office\n#301 – 4501 Kingsway\nBurnaby\, BC \nIf you wish to attend\, please register no later than Thursday\, January 2\, 2020. Previous classes have filled up quickly so register early. Late registrations may not be accepted. \nMoveUP will provide travel arrangements as well as a leave of absence should you require them. If your employer needs more than three weeks’ notice for leave requests\, please contact Joanne at the time of registration to ensure that the request is sent within the timelines of your specific collective agreement. \nThe on-line registration form can be found here. \nYou will receive a confirmation letter to the email address provided no later than January 6\, 2020 should you be accepted for this training. Please note that the cancellation deadline is 4:30 p.m. January 17\, 2020.
