Unifor 114 – Tentative Agreement Reached

To: MoveUP members with Unifor 114


We are pleased to announce that the Employer and the Union have reached a tentative agreement.  We were able to obtain a fair and reasonable tentative agreement with the Employer with no concessions.

Your bargaining committee is recommending acceptance of the tentative agreement and some of the highlights include:

  • Three (3) year agreement effective September 2022

Year 2022             3%
Year 2023             3%
Year 2024             3%

  • Improvements to Hours of Work language
  • Improvements to posting and filling process
  • Improved technological change language
  • Improved EHB benefits and benefits for retirees
  • Improved meal per diem allowances
  • Remote Work (Hybrid)
  • Equity provisions (Sexual/Domestic Violence Leave)

We will be sending out information shortly to the members identifying the specifics of how we will be conducting the ratification meeting and the voting, along with time and date.

Please make sure that you keep an eye out for this information as it will be sent to your home emails, along with the memorandum of agreement package that will form the amendments to the collective agreement.

We ask that once received, you review the information and please be prepared to ask questions at the ratification meeting.
