As an executive councillor in your workplace, you are the spokesperson for your union. You are a vital link between the membership and the elected leadership. You, along with other job stewards, speak for your fellow members in the day to day relations between our union and management. In addition, you participate in five executive council meetings a year where you can take part in the direction and decision making of your union. Note that you may run in an executive council area that is not your own work location, however, your nominators must be working in that area.
Please click here for a nomination form. Deadline for nominations to be received in the union office is 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2020.
Should we receive more than one nomination form, an election will be called with voting to be held by electronic ballot. Due to Covid-19 we are accepting nominations without hand-written signatures. Consult the nomination form instructions for all requirements.
Completed forms may be sent to email@example.com or by fax to 604-299-8211.
