CIATU – Bargaining Committee Election

To: All MoveUP members CIATU
Your collective agreement expires on April 30, 2023. Please be aware the agreement will continue in full force until a new agreement is negotiated and ratified.
Before this can happen, you must elect your bargaining committee. The role of bargaining committee member is a very important one. Those you elect to serve on the bargaining committee will be entrusted to work alongside the Union Representative, and the union office, to achieve a renewed collective agreement.
The bargaining committee will consist of four (4) job stewards. Your union representative will also sit on the committee to lead negotiations.
We need your voices at the table and your input into the process, so if you are a Job Steward who would like to sit on the committee, or if you would like to nominate a Job Steward, a nomination form is attached.
Please return by Tuesday, February 21 at 4:30pm. In the event that there are more nominations than positions available, an election will be held.
