BELC – Staffing and Assignment Changes – UPDATE

To: All MoveUP members at Burnaby English Language Centre
At our March 30th membership meeting there were a number of questions regarding staffing changes (lay-offs) as well as changes to class assignments. I have confirmed with management that all employees who are impacted either by layoffs or by changes to their classes have been notified. If you have not been notified of any changes it is because there are no changes impacting you personally. The final scheduling details are still being determined and will be finalized shortly. The employer is not planning a staff meeting at this time, so if you have any questions please feel free to ask.
