North Central Labour Council endorses Sarah Holland and Shar McCrory for School Board Trustees

The North Central Labour Council has endorsed Sarah Holland and Shar McCrory for school board trustees in the upcoming School District No. 57 (Prince George) by-election.

Sarah Holland is an active member of the community and a parent of children who graduated from this school district. She is a financial planning consultant and wants to make informed, data-driven decisions that support the success of all students in caring school communities.

Shar McCrory brings extensive experience in supporting education from her eight years as a school board trustee for the Coast Mountain School District, including six years as board chair and two years as vice-chair. She is a strong advocate for youth and public education and is committed to finding ways to better support students and student achievement. She works in a regional role for Northern Health.

The by-election day takes place on Saturday, June 17 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m at the locations listed below.

  • Glenview Elementary School, 7310 Cluff Rd, Prince George, BC
  • Heritage Elementary School, 257 Anderson St, Prince George, BC
  • Malaspina Elementary School, 7900 Malaspina Blvd, Prince George, BC
  • Pineview Elementary School, 8515 Old Cariboo Hwy, Prince George, BC
  • Van Bien Training Centre, 311 Wilson Crescent, Prince George, BC

You can also vote in advance at the School District No. 57 Office located at 2100 Ferry Avenue, Prince George, on Wednesday, June 7 or Tuesday, June 13 between 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. For more information on how to vote, click here.
