FortisBC – CSC – Bargaining Update #4

To: All MoveUP members at FBC-CSC
Your bargaining committee met with the company again on November 15, 16, and 18, 2022.
The parties continued to address nonmonetary items. Although there is still much to be done, considerable progress has been made on the proposals that have been discussed.
The discussions have been in good faith, and we are confident that the hard work being done at the bargaining table will lead to a recommended settlement.
If you have any questions about the process, please reach out to a member of your bargaining committee.
Negotiations will reconvene on December 6, 7, and 8, 2022. Further dates will be set as required.
Should the parties reach an agreement, a membership meeting will be held to go over the tentative deal with the membership and a ratification vote will be scheduled.
