BC Regional Council of Carpenters–Bargaining Update and Membership Meeting – Wednesday April 13, 2022

To: All MoveUP members at BCRCC
The employer and your union resumed negotiations today, April 12, 2022.
During negotiations the parties were unable to agree and are close to an impasse around Article 12 (Job Evaluation) and Appendix A (Wages). Subsequently, we were forced to end negotiations early. The employer believes they have our members best interests in mind however the union does not agree with this assertion. Therefore, the bargaining committee have determined that we should canvass the membership prior to returning to the table.
Please be advised that this important membership meeting has been scheduled as follows:
