UA Local 324 – Tentative Agreement Reached

We are pleased to announce that a tentative agreement has been reached with your employer. Your bargaining committee was able to obtain a fair and reasonable tentative agreement with the employer.

Some of the highlights include:

  • Three (3) year agreement retroactive to August 1, 2021
  • 3% wage increase each year of the agreement.
  • Elimination of lower tier category with the intent to create a progression ladder for advancement.
  • New equity provisions (Land acknowledgement, Leave for Ceremonial and Traditional Indigenous Practices, 1 hour paid time on National Indigenous Peoples Day)
  • Dispatch Language
  • Probationary Performance Reviews
  • Increase of employer contribution to pension plan
  • Additional Leaves (Court Leave with Pay , Domestic Violence Leave, and 5 paid days First Responders Leave)
  • Statutory Holiday for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

We have scheduled a ratification meeting for your bargaining team to review and discuss the Memorandum of Agreement, and answer any questions you may have. Upon conclusion of this meeting, you will be able to vote through the Member Portal.
