To: All MoveUP members at Sheet Metal Workers Training Centre
I would like to introduce myself as your Union Representative for your worksite under the Sheet Metal agreement.
As you may know, the current collective agreement has expired, and I will be negotiating on your behalf. I have many years of collective bargaining experience, but I need your assistance in identifying issues to address in bargaining and proposals that should be included in the next collective agreement.
Please contact me directly if you are interested in serving on the bargaining committee and I can discuss the process and the related responsibilities.
However, I am of course here to support you outside of bargaining, so please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns about any work-related issue.
