Dear MoveUP members at car rentals

To: MoveUP members of Avis, Enterprise & Hertz
Due to personnel changes within the MoveUP office, there have been changes in representation assignments. Accordingly, I have been reassigned.
I want to take this opportunity to thank all the job stewards and members I have had the pleasure of working with over the last two and a half years. I think we have won more than we lost and done some very good things to improve the working conditions at car rentals. Of course, COVID-19 created some very difficult situations, and I am proud of the work that was done during the pandemic by the members and job stewards to minimize the negative impacts of what was and continues to be a very challenging time.
Ward Edgar will be replacing me for the next while as the representative assigned to car rentals. Some of you may recall that Ward filled this role in the latter part of 2018. Based on his experience, Ward will be able to hit the ground running and will do an excellent job representing our members. Much like me when I first started, Ward will also have the benefit of utilizing the experiences of the representatives who have worked at car rentals previously. Ward and I will be working together to ensure as smooth of a transition as possible.
I look forward to working with you all again at some point in the future, and once again thanks, for all the assistance during my tenure at car rentals.
