Southern Railway – Bargaining Update

To: All MoveUP Members at Southern Railway
I want to start off by thanking everyone who attended Monday’s membership meeting. During this meeting, we discussed your employer’s offer and the consensus among the group was that it was far from fair.
Our experience in dealing with your employer is that we know they can do better, and we know that you deserve better than what has been offered. We are obligated to present the employer’s offer to you for consideration and our recommendation is that you VOTE NO.
By voting no, you will give us a mandate to continue to bargain a fair collective agreement that you all deserve.

Voting opens: Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 8:30 a.m.
Voting closes: Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 4 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE:
You must be registered for the member portal prior to the vote opening or you will not be eligible to vote.
How you vote
To vote, simply log in to the member portal and you will see the option to vote on the screen.
If you are having difficulty signing into the member portal, please email membership@moveuptogether.ca. If you haven’t already registered for your account, you will need your membership number and home email address and then click here. If you do not know your membership number please email membership and they will assist you with this.
It is imperative that we remain strong in solidarity. United we stand tall, divided we will fall.
