North Okanagan Labour Council endorses Wayne Broughton for SD23 school trustee

The North Okanagan Labour Council has endorsed Wayne Broughton in the upcoming by-election for Central Okanagan Board of Education (SD23) school trustee.
Broughton has been a professor at UBC Okanagan and Okanagan University College for 25 years and serves on the Parent Advisory Council at Kelowna Secondary School. His platform includes supporting inclusive and welcoming classrooms, promoting opportunities and programs in STEM subjects, supporting school staff, and building spaces for the long-term.
