Canadian Northern Shield – Tentative Agreement and Ratification Details

Your bargaining committee has reached a tentative agreement with your employer, Canadian Northern Shield.

Highlights of the tentative agreement include:

• 2 Year Agreement
• 1.5% wage increase for 2022, .5% wage increase for 2023
• Revised PIP protocols
• Mental Health First Aid Training for OH&S Committee Members
• Cross-training protocols for positions within CNS
• Increased Severance Pay

Your bargaining committee is recommending ratification of the tentative collective agreement.

The tentative agreement can be found here for your review.

We will be holding a meeting on May 11, 2021 in order to review the tentative agreement with you.

DATE: May 11, 2021
TIME: 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
PLACE: Zoom (click here to register)
