Lu’ma Native Housing Society – Parties Reach Tentative Agreement – Ratification Details

To: All MoveUP Members at LNHS
Your bargaining committee is pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement with your employer, Lu’ma Native Housing Society.
Highlights of the tentative agreement include:
• 3 year agreement
• Category 1 – Minimum 9.25% wage increase retroactive for 2021. 2.5% wage increase for 2022 and 2023
• Categories 2-9 – 2.5% wage increase retroactive for 2021. 2.5% wage increase for 2022 and 2023
• Increases to dental plan coverage, now covering Orthodontics, with no deductible.
• $100.00 monthly work-from-home allowance
• Reduced probationary period
• Staff development funding and paid leave
• Reduced minimum part time hours to qualify for benefits and pension contributions
• Detailed OH&S protocols for aggressive behaviour and communicable disease incidents
Your bargaining committee is recommending ratification of the tentative collective agreement.

We will be holding a meeting on April 20, 2021 in order to review the tentative agreement with you.
