BCH & Powertech – Urgent Action Required – Scheduling 2020 Annual Vacation and RWWL days

This bulletin is a follow up to the November 3, 2020 bulletin regarding the new collective agreement language on banking and payout of annual vacation (AV) and RWWL days.
It is important that members act now and take the AV and RWWL days you are entitled to. The change to the language will mean if you do not take your AV and RWWL days before March 31, 2021 they will be paid out.
Some members with 5 or more years service may have room to bank up to five AV days depending on how much time you have in your timebank. (Attached is a chart that shows per year of service and the total amount of days you can have in your timebank.)
Work with your manager to schedule your remaining AV and RWWL days immediately to prevent them from being paid out. If you are denied your request, please contact your job steward.
