BCH & Powertech – Ratification Voting
March 24, 2020
To: All MoveUP Members at BCH & Powertech
The Union did not hold ratification meetings for members to vote on the new collective agreement due to COVID-19. Ballots have been mailed to members at home and should be returned by mail through Canada Post. There is a pre-paid envelope for members to use. Please disregard instruction to give the ballot to your job steward to send in to MoveUp.
Any Job Steward that has received ballots from members please send them by mail through Canada Post as soon as possible. Please do not accept any future ballots from members and advise them to send through Canada Post. Follow the directions below for voting:
HOW TO VOTE:
Please adhere to all the steps in the voting procedures:
Step 1: Mark ballot in the appropriate box with an “X”.
Step 2: Place marked ballot in envelope marked “BALLOT” and seal.
Step 3: Place sealed “BALLOT” envelope in the ballot return envelope and ensure that all of the details are completed on the ballot return envelope.
Step 4: Place your ballot return envelope in the pre-paid Returning Officer envelope and mail through Canada Post.
Step 5: Ballots must be received at the Union office by 4:30 p.m. on Friday April 8, 2020.
