Notice of By-Election – Nominations Open – Executive Councillor Area #1460

To: MoveUP Members in EC Areas #1460-1461-1462
EC Area #1460 represents members employed at Coastal Community Credit Union. There are three at-large positions for EC area #1460, 1461 and 1462. Two of these councillor positions are currently filled.
Term Ending: April 30, 2020
Due to the resignation of Emma O’Sullivan and in accordance with the constitution, we are running a by-election for the above councillor position.
As an executive councillor in your workplace, you are the spokesperson for your union. You are a vital link between the membership and the elected leadership. You, along with other job stewards, speak for your fellow members in the day to day relations between our union and management. In addition, you attend five executive council meetings a year where you can participate in the direction and decision making of your union.
