BCAA-RACC Bargaining Update – October 23

The bargaining committees reconvened negotiations on October 18 and remained focused on language proposals. The parties continued to discuss staffing levels, job postings, leave language, as well as the discrimination and harassment article of the collective agreement, among other items.
Information has been requested from the employer regarding the FlexFits Benefits plan so we can finalize our benefits proposal. We are still awaiting this information to be provided.
All monetary items remain on the table and the parties will discuss these following the language proposals being decided. We return to the bargaining table on Friday, October 26.
