IAM140 – Mediator Appointed – Parties to meet on April 16 and 17, 2018

As you are already aware, the membership rejected the Employer’s final offer vote on February 21, 2018.
The union subsequently applied for mediation under Section 74 of the B.C. Labour Relations Code.
A mediator has been appointed and the Parties have agreed to meet on April 16 and 17, 2018 to attempt to reach an agreement.
We will notify you when there are any updates.
