MoveUP - Job Steward Level 2 Training

To: All MoveUP Job Stewards, Executive Councillors and Executive Board Members

MoveUP will be holding a 2-day Job Steward Level 2 course on October 14 and 15, 2017.

This course is open to all job stewards and executive councillors who have not previously taken this course and completed Job Steward Level 1, have attended job steward training specific to their bargaining unit, or are currently registered for Job Steward Level 1 in September.  Registrants must be able to attend both days.

Dates:  Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm (Lunch provided)
             Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm
             (You must attend both days)

Place:  MoveUP Office
             #301 – 4501 Kingsway
             Burnaby, BC

If you wish to attend, please complete the attached registration form and either fax it to 604 299-8211 or email it to reception@moveuptogether.ca. If faxing, please call 604-299-0378 to confirm receipt.

Deadline for registration is 4:30 pm on Tuesday, September 19, 2017.

Please register early to accommodate any leave of absence you may require.  If your employer requires more than 3 weeks’ notice for leave, please email ygarie@moveuptogether.ca at the time of registration to ensure the leave of absence is sent within the timelines specified in your collective agreement.

Late registrations will not be accepted.

Confirmation letters and travel/accommodations (if applicable) will be emailed to the address provided on the registration form by September 26, 2017.
